The San Francisco Giants declared Thursday that Cristin Coleman, the spouse of previous Cy Young victor Tim Lincecum, has passed on.
The group communicated its sympathies to Lincecum, his significant other’s family, her companions and her students.
According to the reports Coleman, a teacher at Peninsula elementary school in the Bay Area, died of cancer on June 27, but news of her death was not made public by the Giants until Thursday night.
According to the the SM Daily Journal, “a celebration of Cristin Coleman’s life will be hosted by the district later this summer or fall and officials are exploring ideas to further commemorate her and her contributions to the Washington campus.”
